D2D — Dispatch 2 Door Step · Agreement version 2026-09-08
Booking · reminders · dispatch · customer follow-up — done for you, in your name.
This agreement is between D2D — Dispatch 2 Door Step ("D2D"), a family-run service business based in Orange County, California, and the business whose owner accepts it on the D2D intake form ("Client"). The business name, owner name, phone and email recorded on that form are the parties' details. Acceptance is recorded with the owner's typed name, the date and time, and the version number of this agreement. This agreement is written in plain English by the parties and has not been reviewed by an attorney.
The Client keeps ownership and control of any phone number it already has, its email address and mailbox, its website and domain, its customers, and its leads. D2D touches a number, mailbox or website the Client brings only with the Client's written authorization, and never re-advertises them as D2D's own. D2D acts only for the Client's business and only through the doors the Client authorizes; that permission is limited and revocable, door by door.
Each connected channel ("door") is authorized separately by the Client on the D2D setup page, which records what D2D is being given access to, what D2D will do with it, what the Client's customers experience, and how the Client disconnects it. The Client may revoke any door at any time by disconnecting it as described there; D2D stops operating that door when it is disconnected.
For the fees in Section 4, D2D sets up and runs on the Client's behalf: a branded online booking page (the Client's logo, colors, services, prices and hours) that the Client links from its own website and listings; automatic customer messages in the Client's name — booking receipt and confirmation, appointment reminders, a "who's coming" message with the assigned technician's name, photo and vehicle, an "on my way" message when the technician heads out, running-late updates, and a review request when the job is done; one-tap job links for the Client's technicians with the customer's request, photos, address and directions — no app, no login; a dispatch desk monitored by D2D staff for uncovered jobs, technician absences, technician help requests and failed messages, under the Support Promise in Section 7; a private Owner's View for the Client showing today's jobs, the field team, open alerts, activity and the state of each connected door, plus a Monday summary by email; hosting, maintenance, and up to 2,000 outbound customer text messages per calendar month — counted as messages sent to the Client's customers, not carrier segments; texts D2D sends to the Client and to the Client's technicians are not counted (fair use — overage is handled by agreement, never billed silently); and changes to hours, prices, services, technicians or photos on request, handled by D2D staff.
D2D does not produce quotes or invoices, collect payments, generate leads, or provide live video. D2D does not answer the Client's calls with a person or an automated assistant; a call nobody answers is handled only as described in Section 5.
Setup: a one-time fee of $500, due before setup begins, unless D2D waives it in writing.
Partner rate: $299 per month for the Client's first six (6) months of paid service, offered to D2D's first ten partner businesses. Standard rate: $499 per month from the seventh month onward. The standard rate may change with at least sixty (60) days' written notice; the Partner rate is locked for its six months.
Pilot: if D2D offers the Client a pilot in writing, the first thirty (30) days are free of charge. Nothing converts automatically — paid service begins only when the Client says so, and the Partner rate then runs for six months from that day.
Fees are billed monthly in advance. The schedule that applies to the Client is named in the welcome message D2D sends when the Client's system goes live.
D2D provides the Client a D2D-managed business phone number ("business number"). Customers call the business number. Calls to it ring the phone or phones the Client selects first ("owner-first ring-through"); a call the Client answers is an ordinary call and D2D does nothing further with it.
Missed-call recovery (the standard, and the only handling offered): if no one answers, D2D speaks one short message and texts the caller a secure link to describe the job and choose a time, in the Client's name. D2D does not answer calls with an automated assistant, does not take voice intake, does not diagnose, quote, or promise arrival times, and does not record calls.
A phone number the Client already has is touched only with the Client's written authorization. With that authorization the Client may bring its existing number into D2D-managed service (a carrier port-in signed by the Client as the end customer), or, case by case and in writing, keep its own public number and forward unanswered calls to a D2D line, turning that forwarding on and off on its own phone with the exact steps D2D provides.
The business number is provisioned on D2D's carrier account and operated for the Client's business. It is not D2D's to keep against the Client: on cancellation the Client may keep the business number, and D2D transfers it under Section 10. D2D does not advertise a Client's business number as its own.
Text messages sent by D2D on the Client's behalf are sent from the Client's business number in the Client's name, or, until that number is carrier-verified, from a D2D toll-free number shared with other D2D clients. A customer who replies STOP to the shared number stops receiving texts from every business D2D serves; on the Client's business number, STOP applies only to the Client.
A text a customer sends to the business number reaches D2D and becomes a request in the Client's name: the customer gets the Client's secure link back and the Client is told. D2D cannot intercept text messages sent to a wireless (cell) phone number the Client already has; carriers do not allow it. Texts to the Client's own cell stay with the Client, and the setup page says so plainly.
Customer text messages are sent only to customers who provided their number and agreed to receive messages. Customers can reply STOP at any time and D2D honors it automatically. D2D follows carrier rules, including quiet hours, and may hold non-urgent messages overnight for delivery the next morning. The Client agrees not to ask D2D to text anyone who has not opted in. D2D tracks the delivery state carriers report; delivery through carrier outages cannot be guaranteed.
D2D's desk is staffed 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. An urgent pager is carried 6:00 am – 10:00 pm, seven days a week for emergencies without coverage, technician help requests, technicians who have gone quiet, jobs about to start with nobody assigned, and job-critical messages that failed on a same-day job; for those a person looks and takes the first action within 15 minutes. Overnight (10:00 pm – 6:00 am) the system runs and humans are not on duty. If a person has not reached an urgent flag within 30 minutes during pager hours, D2D texts the Client what was flagged and what the system already did. The full promise is published at d2ddispatch.com/support and is part of this agreement.
Customer names, numbers, addresses, requests, booking history, photos, messages and job records that enter D2D through the Client's doors belong to the Client. D2D processes them only to operate the Client's business under this agreement.
D2D does not sell the Client's customer data, does not market to the Client's customers, and does not use one client's customers to market for another. D2D does not redirect, offer, or route a Client's lead or job to another contractor unless the Client separately opts into a program that explicitly permits it; that opt-in is a separate written choice, is off by default, and is not implied by an emergency, by the Client being unreachable, or by anything else in this agreement.
The Client can export its customers, leads, jobs and message history at any time from its Owner's View in a standard format (CSV/JSON), and D2D will also provide the export on request or on cancellation at no charge within seven (7) days.
D2D's staff are the named people who operate the dispatch desk. They sign in with individual codes, every sign-in is logged, and they access the Client's records only to operate the service — to assign, message, resolve flags and support the Client. Every automated action and every staff action on a lead is recorded on that lead's timeline, which the Client can see in its Owner's View.
This agreement is month-to-month. The Client may cancel at any time, by email or text, to stop the next renewal; service continues through the end of the current paid period. No advance notice is required and there is no cancellation fee. D2D may end the agreement with thirty (30) days' written notice, or immediately for non-payment or misuse of the messaging service, and refunds the unused part of a prepaid period in that case.
On cancellation, the handoff is written and step by step, and each step names who does it. First, the Client's active jobs are finished or handed to the Client through the end of the paid period; nothing is archived before that. Second, the Client's data is exported under Section 8. Third, the business number: the Client tells D2D in writing whether it wants to keep it.
If the Client keeps the business number, the transfer is a manual, D2D-assisted carrier port-out: the Client starts a port-in with the carrier it chooses; D2D, as the current account holder, gives that carrier the account details it validates against, signs the authorization, and approves the port-out request within the carrier's 24–48 hour review window. D2D does not block a valid transfer and charges no fee for its part. The carriers set the date and D2D cannot guarantee it (as of this version, Telnyx acknowledges a port-out within 3 business days and typically completes a simple port-out about 2 business days after; toll-free numbers transfer through a separate RespOrg process). Text-message registrations tied to D2D's account do not transfer with the number; the Client's new carrier registers the number for texting again. D2D's call routing and automated texts on the number stop when the Client leaves.
If the Client does not keep the business number, D2D parks it for ninety (90) days — a customer who calls or texts it is told how to reach the Client — then retires it. A number the Client brought under Section 5 is returned to the Client the same way, with the Client as the end customer on the carrier's records throughout. The Client removes any email forwarding rule or website link it made on its own accounts; D2D provides the exact steps. The booking page shows the Client's contact number instead of a dead page for at least ninety (90) days.
Archived data is kept for twelve (12) months in case the Client returns, then permanently deleted. The full handoff checklist for the Client's own setup is on the Client's Connections page and in D2D's offboarding runbook.
Logo, service list, prices, business hours, service area and technician details; a designated contact (usually the owner) who can be reached by text for assignment decisions and urgent flags; timely answers when D2D needs a decision; the phone or phones that ring first on the business number; the door authorizations it grants on its setup page, and any email rule or website link a door needs, made on its own accounts; and truthful business information. Licensing, insurance, and the quality of the work performed remain entirely the Client's responsibility.
This agreement does not grant the Client any exclusive territory or trade. D2D may serve more than one business in the same trade and the same ZIP codes. What stays separate is the Client's business: its inquiries, customers and records are the Client's alone under Section 8, are never shared with or redirected to another business, and are never used to serve another business — without the Client's separate, explicit written authorization. Any territory, first-call or emergency-network priority program D2D offers in the future will be a separate written offer with its own opt-in.
D2D provides scheduling, messaging and dispatch software with human oversight under Section 7. D2D does not guarantee any number of bookings, does not perform or supervise the Client's trade work, and is not liable for the outcome of jobs. D2D's total liability for any claim arising from this agreement is limited to the service fees the Client paid in the one (1) month before the claim.
If something in this agreement ever feels unfair, the Client can call the owner of D2D directly and it gets worked out person to person. That is the point of being a partner.
This agreement is accepted on the D2D intake form by ticking the acceptance box and typing the owner's full name. D2D records the name, the date and time, the network address the form was submitted from, and the version number above. Every version ever accepted stays readable at /agreement?v=<version> (2026-09-08, 2026-09-07, 2026-09-06, 2026-09-04, 2026-09-01). This agreement is written in plain English and is not attorney-reviewed.
Mes a mes.
